About Me

I am a graduate of Pepperdine University, where I earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology. Prior to that, I graduated from Georgia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, spending the first few years of my career path in the engineering field. My time as an engineer taught me two major things: how to use critical thinking to solve complex problems... and that I hated being an engineer. However, I bring that complex problem solving into the therapy room through conceptualizing and collaborating with my clients to provide a framework of what they are hoping to gain in therapy, allowing them to remove roadblocks and strive towards their goals. My experience changing career paths taught me that it is never too late to switch course and that happiness comes from living and honoring your authentic self.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult life changes, and I have extensive experience in working with all ages, including adolescents, families, couples, and young adults. My therapeutic philosophy is centered in the idea that with hope and persistence, everyone has the inner tools to heal what ails them. By nature, we seek out connection and acceptance through relationships with others, but something we often ignore is our connection and relationship to our inner-self. Together, we will discover what has been holding you back, and find new paths forward. At my practice, I strive to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere, and I am committed to providing the highest quality of care. I am passionate about helping individuals and families take the steps necessary to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy long hikes with my dog, Cupid, rollerblading around Los Angeles, and woodworking/refurbishing antique furniture.
